Our 2015 Rosé of Sangiovese is not your grandmother's Blush. This is a dry, fruity, Rosé of our estate grown Sangiovese. After crush, this was left on the skins for 30 hours and then the free-run of juice was collected, fermented, and bottled. Meant to be drunk young, this is an unoaked expression of fresh sangiovese fruit with some moderate acids and higher alcohol than a traditional blush. This pairs well with food. It wants food... We'd suggest serving this with baked chicken or turkey, or maybe a barbecued cheeseburger. This is not a complex or snobbish wine, simply an expression of fresh sangiovese in a dark pink, fruitful expression.
